AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Project Manager) to lead complex engineering projects for a major industrial manufacturing client. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project management responsibilities, overseeing large-scale mechanical systems from conception through completion while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Technical Engineering: Design and construct HVAC and plumbing systems using building information modeling (BIM) Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, architectural, and other disciplines for integrated building designs Perform construction inspection and observation, producing detailed project reports Review and enhance existing engineering standards, techniques, and practices Evaluate and apply standard engineering procedures and judgment for complex system solutions Utilize Autodesk REVIT, CAD, and other design tools Review and edit technical specifications and documentation Project Leadership & Management: Manage overall project administration and establish project-specific objectives and policies Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate managers and technical staff Serve as primary liaison between AECOM and client stakeholders Oversee all project phases from budgeting and scheduling through procurement and contract closeout Maintain significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects Ensure projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements
